Talkie Ventures, LLC

A product studio that ships. Our own apps, and yours.

Talkie builds and runs software for families and artists. The same process that ships those products is for hire: fixed scope, fixed price, and a date on the calendar.

  • 5 products live or in early access
  • 1 engineer, with coding agents
  • 0 hourly billing

Products

Software we build, run, and answer for.

Each of these is a real business with real customers. They are also the proof behind the consulting: every one was designed, built, deployed, and operated by the same person you'd be working with.

For artists

Gesso

A portfolio site and studio back office in one. Artworks, sales, collectors, commissions, expenses, and a public site on your own domain. Artists pay a subscription and Gesso takes no cut of their sales.

For families

Latitude

Agreements between parents and kids, written down and visible to both. Freedom requests, milestones, pre-agreed consequences, and a road back. The Christian edition ships as Latitude; the inclusive edition is Raise & Relate.

For parents of iPhone kids

Curfew

Parental controls built on Apple's Screen Time that do what the built-in version won't: multiple restricted windows a day, day types, earn-time rules, and one-tap changes from your own phone.

For Tonies families

StoryBox

Custom audio stories for Tonies boxes. An original script, a distinct voice per character, performed with expression over music, delivered as an MP3 you can load tonight.

For teenagers

DayForge

Habits, streaks, and XP for a teenager, built by a dad and his son. Nothing leaves the phone unless you share it. Pairs with Curfew so earned time can mean something.

  • Scoping call and a one-page spec on day one
  • Working web or iOS prototype at a shareable URL or TestFlight link
  • Short written readout: what we learned and what the full build would take

  • Eval set and prompt tests you can keep running
  • Cost, latency, and failure-mode review before launch

Keep going

After a sprint, most clients want the same engineer around. The retainer is two days a week, month to month, at $12,000 per month. Cancel with 30 days' notice.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. A 30-minute fit call

You describe the outcome. We say honestly whether one of the offers fits, and which one. If none does, you'll hear that too.

  2. A one-page scope

What's in, what's out, the price, and the delivery date. You sign it and pay half up front. The rest is due on delivery.

  3. Weekly demos on a live URL

Everything is deployed from the first week. You see progress in the product, not in a status report.

  4. You own all of it

Code in your repository, infrastructure in your accounts, a runbook that explains how it runs. Nothing is held hostage.

The studio

One engineer, a lot of leverage.

Talkie is run by Tyson Puetz. Every product on this page was designed, built, shipped, and operated by one person working with coding agents. That's the point of the consulting: you get the same speed, applied to your problem, with someone who has to live with the results of their own decisions.

Recent client work includes a coordinator CRM for a community nonprofit, built on Cloudflare Workers with email, document storage, and scheduled jobs.
